Zou Jiayi was received by Wadagni at the Marina Palace on Tuesday, September 8, during a working visit by an AIIB delegation to Benin.
Discussions focused on Benin’s development ambitions and prospects for expanding cooperation with the multilateral financial institution, which specialises in infrastructure financing.

During the meeting, Zou reaffirmed the AIIB’s willingness to support Benin in achieving its development goals through financing for strategic infrastructure projects.
The talks underline Benin’s efforts to deepen partnerships with international financial institutions to support its development priorities and major infrastructure plans.
