Uganda Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja and a government delegation held meetings with potential investors in Dubai after the country highlighted investment opportunities at the Annual Investment Meeting.
Nabbanja was accompanied by Uganda Investment Authority Director General Robert Mukiza, Ambassador Zaake Kibedi and Undersecretary Rose Alenga, among other officials, during the engagements with investors.
The delegation met prospective investors who expressed interest in Uganda after learning about opportunities in the country during the Annual Investment Meeting in Dubai.

The Ugandan team also held discussions with senior UAE officials on travel restrictions affecting movement from Uganda to the United Arab Emirates.
Among those involved in the discussions was Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The talks covered the existing restrictions on travel from Uganda to the UAE, although no further details on the outcome of the discussions were provided.
The investor meetings form part of Uganda’s efforts to attract foreign investment by promoting opportunities across the country’s economy and strengthening engagement with international business communities.
The delegation’s discussions in Dubai combined efforts to promote Uganda as an investment destination with talks on bilateral issues affecting relations between the two countries.
