Royal Air Maroc has announced a special flight operation to help Moroccan football supporters travel to the United States to back the Atlas Lions during their upcoming matches.
The airline said it will operate 32 special flights connecting Morocco with the American cities of New York, Boston and Atlanta as part of the initiative aimed at bringing fans closer to the national team.
According to the airline, more than 8,800 seats will be made available for supporters travelling to cheer on the Atlas Lions. Royal Air Maroc has also introduced a special round trip fare of 10,000 Moroccan dirhams in Economy Class for the dedicated flights.
In a statement, the airline said the operation reflects its continued support for Moroccan football and national sporting events, declaring: “More than ever, we stand behind the Atlas Lions.”
The announcement has generated excitement among supporters as Morocco’s national team continues to attract strong backing from fans both at home and abroad.
The phrase “Haya Ya Oussoud”, meaning “Come on Lions”, accompanied the airline’s campaign message rallying support for the team.
